The Italian team of VOLOINPENDIO.IT is proud to introduce the new Graecalis 3.0
It is full-composite aerobatic glider completely designed and built from us.
TECHNICAL FEATURES:
WING SPAN: CM.290
FUSELAGE LENGTH: cm.160
WING AREA: DM2: 56.80
WING LOADING: 97 GR. / DM2
WEIGHT: KG. 5.6
WING JOINER : ROD STEEL diam.14 MM.
WING AIRFOIL: RG15 MODIFIED
To produce the prototype we did the body of the fuselage by MDF wood with our CNC machine; our friend Peppe Panzieri has developed the fiberglass mold.
The molds of the wings have been made with CNC machine directly by MDF wood covered with resin, polished and painted with two components polyurethane paint.
We did the same for the moving parts of the rudder and taiplane, which have been made by our friend Diego Tagnani (thanks again Diego for your help !!)
After months of hard work on the molds, we have been able to realize a prototype in less than a month that has been tested the 16th of June to the slope of Forca di Presta (Monte Vettore - IT).
Compaired to our previous Graecalis 3.65, the new Graecalis 3.0 is more rigid, agile and speedy.
The aerobatic performance are really great.
With satisfaction we can say that Graecalis 3.0 is really a great model, a pure aerobatic glider.
A beautiful model of medium size, easy to carry and handle by yourself, even in launching to the slope.
The model has been officially and successfully presented the end of June to the International Slope Meeting of Monte Cucco (IT)
