En el foro de mi club leí esto:
This is the compilation of several statements that Anthony Hand, owner of HobbyKing, wrote in July 2011 about the introduction of HobbyKing turbines:
We began researching these models 9 months ago.
Compressor and bearings from Germany.
Most parts produced by a famous turbine factory. There are three very famous (EURO, US) brands that are produced in China. Telling you which ones would be like shooting myself in the face.
Quality guaranteed!
Our target price is at around 60% of current US pricing for Mexican units.
The need for a European service and repair facility is absolutely vital to sell within Europe. Turbine fliers who have tried Far Eastern brands before have complained that the cost saving from the turbine is quickly eroded by courier and duty costs for servicing and repairs. We will have youtube instruction videos and very, very clear warranty procedures that customers must agree to when buying.
I will bring these to the market and most customers will be extremely happy with the product.
Somewhere in his statements he mentioned a turbine costing $1,500.00 US dollars, but did not reveal how much thrust it would put out.
