Aquít está el e-mail que recibí yo cuando pedí información sobre el sistema de sonido.
Un saludo,
Alex
-----------------------------
Hi Alex,
first i want to thank you for your interest on my soundunit.
To fit my soundsystem in smaller planes depends on the additional weight the plane is able to carry. The weight of the minimal system, consisting of TBS Micro (4g) + 30W/30V amplifier (about 35g) and a 100x100speaker (170g) is about 210 gramm.
To get an idea about the system and connecting it, i recommend to have a look at the manual, available at
www.benedini.de.
The rest of this mail is my standard offer:
At the TBS Micro, four control modes are possible:
1. Autostart
This is the most simple way of controling the soundunit. No extra prop. channel is necessary.
The first displacement of the throttle stick starts the engine. If the engine is about 20 seconds idle, it is shut down automatically.
Note:
- In this control mode, NO special sounds (f.e. MG sound) are possible !
- The soundunit is delivered with this standard control mode if not changed by your order
2. Toggle switch mode
Use a common toggle switch with neutral position at a unused prop.channel at your transmitter.
The desired sound (f.e. sound #3) is SELECTED by pushing the switch 3x in one direction.
The selected sound is TRIGGERED by pushing the switch in the other direction.
A common joy stick channel can also be used.
All available special sounds can be played.
3. Normal prop. channel control
A normal prop.channel is used to to start/stop the engine by pushing the joy stick in one direction.
One special sound is triggered by pushing the joy stick in the other direction.
The special sound is factory set and can be changed only by the optional programing adaptor.
4. Encoder control
This is a rotary switch combined with a pusbutton. The desired sound is selected by
the rotary switch and is started by the pushbutton. It must be installed by your own in the transmitter and has to be connected at
a not used prop.channel. The encoder must be ordered separately.
Note:
The encoder is tested in a variaty of transmitters. It is not guaranteed to work well in all available transmitter brands.
The installation in the transmitter is on your own risk.
Another thing is the supply voltage for the amplifier.
At the moment two amplifiers are available:
1. max. 2x40W amplifier for 10-18V power supply, weight: 35g (including heatsink)
2. max. 1x30W amplifier for 12-30V power supply, weight: 18g (without heatsink)
If you want to use a separate 3-4 cell LiPo to power the amp, the 2x40W is recommended.
If you want to use the high voltage main batteries to power the amplifier, the 1x30W/30V amplifier is recommended.
